Chase Perez

Chase Perez, Founder & Physical Therapist, comes from a sports background having played baseball through college. Having experienced multiple baseball related injuries, surgeries and physical therapy sessions, he truly understands the importance of quality physical therapy for optimizing recovery and performance.

His substantial sports background, especially in baseball began with his college career as an all-conference college catcher at West Valley College then continuing as a player at CSU Stanislaus. Chase completed a clinical rotation with the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale, AZ working with players at all levels of the organization. His key focus was on UCL rehabilitation, rehab program design, and return to play for thrower’s.

Chase completed a Sports Residency at Los Gatos Orthopedic Sports Therapy (LGOST) in Los Gatos, California. There he worked with athletes of varying ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. Chase continued as a clinician and ultimately became Program Director for the Residency. As an LGOST clinician, Chase worked extensively with San Jose State University Athletics, primarily in baseball, football, and soccer.

Chase has a specialization in kettlebell training through StrongFirst (SFG). The technical skill required to perform the techniques and the constant focus on tension-relaxation within the movements really carried over well to the rehab continuum. He’s become passionate about educating and training individuals about the benefits and efficiencies of kettlebell training.

Chase’s treatment approach is to emphasize simple things done well. He believes in a comprehensive, three tiered approach of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. In his spare time Chase enjoys hiking and camping with his wife, kids and dog (Buster), kettlebell training, reading, and cooking.
