  • Progressive resistance training programs
  • Physical therapists with strength and conditioning background
  • A battery of tests so no stone is left unturned (mobility, motor control, strength 1RM, strength endurance, strength speed, and power)

Strength Dynamometry

Pushing against someone’s hand is NOT going to tell you how much force you are capable of producing. And if you don’t restore isolated strength then your risk of injury dramatically increases.

Most athlete’s are too strong to interpret just by hand. Hand resistance testing will only tell you you’re strong or not strong. It won’t tell you how strong you actually are. 10% different? 20%? 30%? 40%?

We have normative data to compare to, to determine when you’re ready to get back to running, cutting, throwing, hitting, etc.

Force Plate Testing

The force plates give us data to confirm what we see and/or what we’re missing. No guesswork, shows you exactly what you need to work on to get back to sport.

Force plates track how much force each limb produces and absorbs during a jump. Athlete’s are great compensators, so we need to identify those compensations to mitigate future injury. Best way to minimize future injury is to address your deficits and compensations. Force plates show us where deficits and asymmetries are occurring so that we can correct it

Strength and Conditioning

One of the major challenges with working with athletes, is they need to get challenged enough in their rehab in order to return to their previous level of performance. We work to improve your strength AND your conditioning so you can go harder for longer.

There are a lot of different strength qualities that need to be tested and trained.

  • Do you produce enough force?
  • Do you produce it fast enough?
  • Do you have the endurance or conditioning to maintain it?
